November 2006: Field trip!
It was like being back at school and getting marched off on a field trip to a museum.
The sandwiches, notebooks and cameras were shoved into the ruck-sack and we had to walk in pairs holding hands to cross the street! The only difference was there was no teacher present and this time we actually wanted to go on the trip!!
We went to the Design Museum to see the Alan Fletcher exhibition. The quote above gives an insight to the dry humour and wit of the great man, which is also evident in his work. An absolute inspiration to any designer, an exhibition that can only make you feel lucky to be a designer and if you're not one, an exhibition that makes you want to be a designer! Brilliant.
